A long term
resident of Georgia, Colin
Aliff is happy to be able to serve his community and work in an area that he
loves, the Augusta, Georgia metropolitan area. Colin
Aliff has been in the area for quite a while. He went to medical school in Augusta, Georgia,
where he attended the Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine, graduating
in 1997. He left Georgia
briefly when he went on to complete his residency at the University
Of Tennessee College Of Medicine in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
After completing
his residency, in which he specialized in family medicine, Colin Aliff returned
to the Augusta, Georgia
metropolitan area and started his career as an attending physician in the
emergency department at Dwight David Eisenhower
Army Medical
Center in Fort Gordon, Georgia.
He worked there from 2005 to 2012, and was a key member of the emergency room
physicians.
While Colin Aliff worked in the emergency department, he maintained thorough training and
certifications in basic life support, advanced cardiac life support, advanced
life support, and advanced trauma life support. These certifications also
helped him to train as a tactical paramedic, which extended his career training
to the law enforcement world.
As Colin Aliff
continued to build up his resume and increase his skill set as an attending
physician, he helped advance his career. In 2012, Colin Aliff became the
medical director of the emergency department at the Washington
County Regional
Medical Center
in Sandersville, Georgia. Also in 2012, Colin Aliff
became the medical director of the Washington County Georgia EMS.
